Fixes & Updates:
- Payment Page Updates – Visa Required Fields:
- Visa will, from August 2024, require additional transaction information to be provided; failing to comply will result in declined transactions. To align with these recent policy changes, we are incorporating new mandatory fields into our payment page:
- Street Name
- Post Code
- Country
- State
- Phone Number
- Cascading Request Fix – The cascading request feature is now working.
- Disabling Old Paynetics API version 1 - From now on, we're only allowing merchants to use Terminal Paynetics API version 2.
USER INTERFACE
New Features:
- Pay By Link (PBL)
- New feature allowing merchants to directly send an email from Paragon with the PBL link to end users providing a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for merchants.
- New capability for merchants to create Pay by Link transactions via server-to-server API.
- When creating a Pay By Link transaction, users now have the flexibility to reset only specific fields within the customer details, rather than having to re-enter information across all fields as required previously.
- New class 31 status code added for Pay By Link replacing status 30004 (storing customer data):
- 31001: Transaction awaiting customer action
- Session Timeout - Users will now have a limit of 15-minute session in Paragon. If there is no activity for 10 minutes, an alert will notify the user that they will be automatically logged out in 5 minutes unless they refresh their session.
Fixes & Updates:
- Search/Filter Amendments – Paragon users can now search transaction according to the following values:
- Per Issuer (not BIN)
- Per Card country
- Per Status Codes – 41/42/43/44/45/46xxx
- Per Customer’s Country
- POS Transactions - We've now added a Summary Volume feature for POS transactions, which wasn't available before. This new functionality allows for better tracking and analysis of transaction volumes directly from the POS interface.
- Dashboard view settings – Users can now customise their dashboard more effectively by selecting a specific date range and filter it by groups.
- One Time Password
- We've introduced an enhanced security feature that allows users to authenticate via a third-party app using a QR code. This update provides the flexibility to receive one-time passwords either directly through an authentication app or via email.
- We have extended the timeout period for one-time passwords from 1 minute to 5 minutes, enhancing flexibility and usability for users.
- Chargeback Summary - We have updated our summary calculations by removing Chargeback Type 2.
